Comment: The Midas Column highlighted Halo Minerals (HALO) as one of the companies being poised to be the next Antofagasta (ANTO) in terms of significance in Chile. This will be done via copper tailings, and the massive Playa Verde asset which is expected to 7,000 tons of pure copper and another 8,000 tons of concentrate annually from the end of 2028. Nothing to be sniffed at, especially given the current modest £12m market cap for this relative stock market newbie. Off the back of the latest mainstream media coverage and the recent share price rebound, the technical call here for 15p by the end of next more appears more than achievable.

Delta Gold Technologies PLC (Aquis: DGQ) announce some of the important technical details behind the exciting advances in the company’s sponsored research programs at The Pennsylvania State University.

Comment: Now we know why and how shares of DGQ have been rising in recent sessions. Who knew what was coming? Apparently everyone. The technicals have been spot on too, and we are looking for as much as 240p by the end of next month, especially while above the latest chart gap floor at 166p. Well done all psychic traders.

Aptamer Group plc (APTA), the developer of next-generation synthetic Optimer® binders, today provides a trading update for the year ended 30 June 2026. This update reflects another year of commercial progress, with revenue growth, an expanding sales pipeline, the Group’s first licensing revenue and strong operational delivery. Expected FY2026 revenue of approximately £1.5 million, representing 25% year-on-year growth. Sales pipeline increased 55% to £4.8 million, with an FY2027 order book of £0.6 million, providing enhanced visibility over future revenues.

Comment: Shares of APTA may be on the floor, but that might be because most in the market have not hear of the company or understand what it does. Nevertheless, it is clearly making progress, especially in terms of sales and with a bit more coverage on the RNS Hotlist this could be a winning prospect later in the year.

Ondine Biomedical Inc. (OBI), a leader in light-activated antimicrobial therapies to prevent and treat hospital infections, today provides an update on its LANTERN Phase 3 pivotal study evaluating the Company’s non-antibiotic nasal photodisinfection technology (branded as Steriwave® outside the US) to reduce the incidence of surgical site infections. The Company has updated the expected timeline for release of topline results from the LANTERN Phase 3 study. Results are now expected within approximately six weeks, reflecting recent guidance from the Company’s independent data management and statistical advisers regarding the time required to complete final data management, reconciliation and database lock activities. The revised timeline reflects the scale of the study and the normal process of finalising a high-quality analysis dataset and associated documentation in preparation for regulatory submission. The primary endpoint and success criteria remain unchanged.

Comment: It would appear that the only people in the world who are not aware of what a breakthough photodisinfection are the hospitals / clinics et al who should be using it. Let’s forget the trials and studies and get on with using the treatment and saving lives.

genedrive plc (GDR), the point of care pharmacogenetic testing company, today provides an unaudited trading update for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. Dr Gino Miele, CEO of genedrive plc, said: “The last year has seen significant commercial and operational progress for genedrive. We have continued to expand adoption of both our MT-RNR1 and CYP2C19 tests across the NHS, advanced important national implementation initiatives and strengthened our international activities across Europe and the Middle East. The growing number of NHS business cases, increasing routine clinical use and continued international engagement provide further evidence of the demand for rapid pharmacogenetic testing.”

Comment: After an extended and perhaps surprise bull run / recovery in the shares, it is perhaps not surprising that we see some profit taking in GDR shares. Nevertheless, while we have the upbeat noises from the company, and the shares stay on the right side of their 200 day moving average at 0.98p, the recovery in the stock from 0.2p in the autumn could continue.

European Green Transition plc (EGT), a company operating in the critical infrastructure sector, provides an operational update on its Wind Energy Services business for the three months ended 30 June 2026. Following its oversubscribed £7.5 million fundraise and the completion of the acquisition of the Wind Energy Services business, as announced on 25 February 2026, EGT’s Wind Energy Services business delivered strong momentum through Q2. Its operating companies – Earthmill Maintenance, Silverford Engineering and Wind Energy Partnership (WEP) – drove robust repowering orderbook growth and strong operational execution throughout Q2.

Comment: Helped along by the guidance of Executive Chair Cathal Friel, we see EGT go from strength to strength, not only as wind is the new rock and roll, but also in the wake of the chunky fundraise which is more than enough for the company to get itself over the line, and deliver for shareholders.

Physiomics plc (PYC), a leading mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics company supporting the development of new therapeutics and personalised medicine solutions, announced that Mike Whitlow, Director of the Company, has acquired, via market purchases, 3,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.4p in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) at a price of 0.45p per Ordinary Share. Accordingly, Mr Whitlow’s total holding in the Company will be 59,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 13.02% of the Company’s issued share capital.

Comment: Whatever the sad state of the small cap end of the London stock market, nothing beats a director putting his hand in his pocket and buying shares on market. We already know that PYC has been transformed since the change of management, and today’s RNS underlines this.

80 Mile PLC (80M),  the AIM, FSE, and OTC listed exploration and development company with projects in Greenland, Finland and Italy, is pleased to provide an update on the recently commenced drill programme at the Company’s Disko-Nuussuaq nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE project in West Greenland. The drill rigs have been securely cemented at the first drill locations at Disko, with pressure testing successfully completed. Drilling is now underway towards the top of the target zones. Each hole is planned to reach a maximum depth of 1,000 metres, subject to ongoing rig-site assessment and geological review.

Comment: After a very agreeable spike in the shares during the spring, we are waiting on the next leg up for shares of 80M. News such as today’s should help, as is the way the stock seems to be wanting to bounce at the 200 day moving average level of 0.82p. Ideally, we get back on the right side of 1p once again by the end of next month.
