Reveille Resources PLC (AQSE: REV) has appointed experienced investment and natural resources executive Sofia Bianchi as Strategic Advisor, strengthening its leadership team as the company advances its uranium exploration interests in Italy and evaluates further international growth opportunities.
The uranium exploration and development company confirmed that Bianchi will support its growth strategy, potential acquisitions, project financing and future offtake arrangements, with a particular focus on maximising the value of its Italian uranium portfolio.
The appointment is a non-board advisory position and follows the recent appointment of former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as Non-Executive Chairman.
Bianchi brings extensive experience in international finance, infrastructure investment and mergers and acquisitions, having held senior positions at several major financial institutions.
She is the founding partner of Atlante Capital Partners, an advisory business specialising in emerging markets and corporate restructuring.
Her previous roles include Head of Special Situations at BlueCrest Capital Management and Head of Special Situations at CDC Group, where she also served on the investment committee for debt and infrastructure.
Bianchi has additionally held senior positions at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Standard Bank London, including serving as Deputy Managing Director of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund.
She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Yellow Cake plc (AIM: YCA), a uranium investment company with a reported market capitalisation of approximately £1.27 billion as of 23 October 2026.
Her other board appointments include Ma’aden, Ivanhoe Electric, Mineros and Canagold, providing experience across mining, strategic minerals and international investment.
Reveille believes Bianchi’s industry relationships and transaction expertise will support the development of its uranium assets in Lombardy, alongside the identification of additional opportunities in Western-aligned markets.
The company sees increasing strategic importance in domestic uranium resources as European governments reassess nuclear energy’s potential contribution to electricity security, decarbonisation and long-term energy affordability.
Sofia Bianchi welcomed the appointment, highlighting the combination of growing electricity demand, the transition towards lower-carbon energy and Europe’s need to secure reliable supplies of critical materials.
She said Italy’s renewed interest in nuclear energy provided an opportunity for Reveille to advance its historic uranium assets while developing relationships with potential technical and commercial partners.
Executive Director Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo described the appointment as an important addition to Reveille’s leadership capabilities, highlighting Bianchi’s experience in natural resources investment, corporate development and international financing.
He said her Italian background and global network would be valuable as the company seeks to expand beyond its current exploration-stage activities.
In connection with the appointment, Reveille proposes to grant Bianchi 2.5 million share options, exercisable at 15.75 pence per share.
The exercise price matches the company’s closing mid-market share price on 23 October 2026, with the options carrying a five-year term.
The awards will vest in equal monthly instalments over the first 12 months of her consultancy, subject to execution of the option agreement and the necessary corporate approvals.
If all options are exercised, they would generate £393,750 in gross proceeds for Reveille, while increasing its issued share capital and diluting existing shareholders.
For investors, Bianchi’s appointment adds senior financial and mining-sector expertise to Reveille, potentially supporting its efforts to secure technical partnerships, development funding and commercial agreements.
However, the company has not announced any new financing, offtake contracts or acquisitions in connection with the appointment.
Attention will now turn to progress across Reveille’s Italian uranium portfolio and any new commercial or acquisition opportunities, as the company seeks to build a larger uranium exploration and development business focused on Western energy security.
