Angus Energy posts strong Q4 as production surges across fields

Angus Energy PLC (AIM: ANGS) reported a strong fourth quarter of 2025, generating estimated revenues of £4.12m, driven by improved operational performance and higher production volumes.

At the Saltfleetby Field, production rose to 446 million standard cubic feet of natural gas alongside 7,739 barrels of gas condensate. Gas sales increased to 4.98 million therms, representing a 19pc rise compared with the previous quarter.

Oil output at the Brockham Field also improved, with production up 26pc to 4,577 barrels. The company recorded a hedging gain of £539,000 during the quarter and completed Phase 1 of its planned well workover programme at Saltfleetby. Phase 2 commenced in January 2026.

Fourth Quarter 2025 Production, Operations, Corporate and Finance Update

·    Substantial increase in Saltfleetby production through improved operational performance contributed to higher revenue levels.

·    Production uplift driven by improved well performance, enhanced well management, and optimisation of Booster Compressor operations at lower wellhead pressures.

·    Initiation of Saltfleetby well workovers, supporting the Company’s strategy to enhance production and operational performance.

Despite the operational progress, Angus said discussions with lenders over debt restructuring remain ongoing. The company warned that failure to reach an agreement could create material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern, adding that its shares are expected to remain suspended from trading.
