Alien has announced the intersection of further high-grade silver and base metals mineralisation at its Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
Results from the 15 Reverse Circulation (‘RC’) drill holes completed in the second phase of its inaugural drilling programme provide further confirmation of exceptionally high-grade silver mineralisation within the historic orebody, including a significant intersection of 8m @ 4,233 g/t Ag (149oz/t Ag) from 66m.
While listing amongst the highest silver grades uncovered across Australia, the shallow southerly dipping sulphide body also contains a range of base metals including copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc and lead, which have the potential to be classed as significant associated products in a production scenario.
Indeed, today’s final batch of assay results suggests the presence of wide intersections in the eastern mafic units running parallel to Elizabeth Hill’s silver deposit with the potential to present as a significant base-metal VMS style target.
