Tertiary Minerals – Exploration Update – Lubuila Copper Project

Tertiary Minerals plc (AIM: TYM), a London-listed exploration company specializing in energy transition and precious metals in Zambia and Nevada, USA, announce the successful conclusion of its recent soil sampling initiative at the Lubuila Copper Project.

Key Takeaways – Lubuila Copper Project

· The proposed soil sampling initiative has been successfully concluded, including additional follow-up sampling based on the analytical outcomes of in-field portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF1).

· A total of 425 soil samples have been gathered over three distinct grids, targeting two unexplored regions of Lower Roan Group sediments (Areas A and B) and a previously known copper-in-soil anomaly at Area C in Upper Roan Group sediments.

· Preliminary findings reveal a large copper-in-soil anomaly spanning roughly 1,000m x 680m at Area C, with a peak copper value of 306 ppm and an average value of 125ppm Cu.

· A subset of the samples will undergo traditional wet geochemical ICP analysis for data validation and interpretation.

Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham shared his thoughts on the update:

“I’m delighted to announce the successful completion of our initial soil sampling programme for the 2023 exploration season, which has also yielded intriguing preliminary results.

The copper-in-soil anomaly discovered in Area C is substantial and continues to be open in all directions. However, confirmation through traditional laboratory wet geochemical analysis is essential, which can also provide analysis for a broader range of metallic elements and a more comprehensive geochemical context. We are submitting a subset of samples for laboratory analysis and eagerly look forward to the findings.”
