Atomic Metals Plc (AQSE: ATO) is preparing to join the Aquis Stock Exchange on 12 November 2026, with an expected market capitalisation of £3.25 million and approximately £2.34 million in gross fundraising proceeds to support its critical and precious metals exploration strategy.
The company has applied for admission to the Access segment of the AQSE Growth Market, where its shares are expected to trade under the ticker ATO, subject to successful completion of the admission process.
Atomic Metals intends to acquire and develop exploration projects targeting strategically important commodities, particularly copper, silver, uranium and gold, with an emphasis on established mining jurisdictions.
The United States, Canada and Australia are expected to be priority markets, although management has retained flexibility to pursue opportunities elsewhere where it considers the geological and commercial prospects attractive.
The company’s strategy is to establish a diversified mineral exploration business capable of identifying significant discoveries and advancing projects towards potential commercial production.
Atomic Metals has arranged approximately £2.34 million in gross fundraising proceeds across two tranches, comprising a completed £698,250 pre-IPO fundraising at 2.25p per share and a further £1.64 million IPO fundraising at 3p per share, conditional on admission.
The proceeds are expected to provide the financial foundation for the company’s initial acquisition and exploration activities.
A total of 108,199,990 ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of 0.1p, are expected to be admitted to trading, with approximately 71.8% of the issued share capital in public hands.
The company’s anticipated £3.25 million admission market capitalisation reflects the 3p IPO issue price and proposed enlarged share capital.
Paul Johnson will serve as Executive Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer, supported by Non-Executive Directors Michael Billing, Clarissa Sowemimo-Coker, Nicole Galloway-Warland and Edmund Shaw.
Johnson, who was involved in the company’s formation through Alconbury Capital Limited, is expected to hold a direct and indirect interest representing approximately 19.2% of the enlarged share capital following admission, compared with 35.7% beforehand.
Directors and certain associated shareholders will be subject to a 12-month lock-in period, followed by a further 12-month orderly market arrangement, covering approximately 30.5 million shares, or 28.2% of the expected issued share capital.
The restrictions are intended to provide an element of shareholder stability during the company’s initial period as a publicly traded business.
Beaumont Cornish Limited has been appointed as AQSE Corporate Adviser, supporting the admission process.
Atomic Metals was incorporated in England and Wales in October 2025 and is entering the public market as a natural resources investment and exploration vehicle rather than an established mineral producer.
The company has not identified a specific completed project acquisition in its admission announcement, meaning its initial progress will depend on sourcing suitable mineral opportunities, negotiating transactions and implementing exploration programmes.
Management believes that targeting critical and precious metals in established mining jurisdictions could provide access to projects benefiting from demand linked to electrification, industrial development and the security of strategic mineral supply chains.
However, exploration remains inherently uncertain, and the company will need to demonstrate that any acquired projects contain economically attractive mineralisation before their commercial potential can be established.
The proposed 12 November listing represents an important first step in Atomic Metals’ development, providing a public market platform and initial funding to pursue its resource acquisition strategy.
Investors will now look towards confirmation of admission, the commencement of trading under ATO and announcements concerning the company’s first exploration or acquisition opportunities.
