Synergia Energy Ltd (the “Company” or “Synergia”) is pleased to announce the following update with respect to its Cambay India operations.
The Company has been analysing and optimising the C-77H gas production rates. The well continues to clean up with flow rates having increased steadily from 150,000 SCFD at the end of September to the current rate of 276,000 SCFD and 17 BPD gas condensate. An commensurate increase of flowing wellhead pressure to the current 950 psi has also been observed.
A pressure gradient survey has revealed the presence of a c. 1450m column of gas condensate in the wellbore which will have an inhibiting effect on production rates. The Company is currently designing a revised completion string incorporating a downhole pump to lift fluids from the wellbore and to enhance production rates.
The consistent increase in gas production from the two newly perforated and fracced zones in the C-77H well confirms the Company’s belief that a fracking methodology has been established that will underpin a full field development.
