The Smarter Web Company PLC has expanded its Bitcoin treasury holdings after purchasing an additional 25 Bitcoin for approximately £1.5 million.
The latest acquisition was completed at an average price of £59,995 per Bitcoin, taking the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 2,830 BTC. The overall average purchase price across its treasury now stands at £81,354 per Bitcoin.
Alongside the purchase, the company confirmed it has drawn £16 million under its strategic credit facility with Coinbase. The borrowing represents a leverage ratio of roughly 10.37% and is secured against the company’s Bitcoin reserves.
The facility carries a variable interest rate ranging between 6.75% and 7.25%, reflecting current market conditions and crypto-backed financing costs.
Management also reported a quarter-to-date Bitcoin yield of 13.86% on its treasury holdings, highlighting continued focus on maximising returns from its digital asset strategy.
The announcement underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to a Bitcoin-focused treasury model, a strategy increasingly adopted by firms seeking exposure to cryptocurrency as part of broader capital allocation and balance sheet management initiatives.
