Reveille proposes former NATO general Andrew Rohling for board role

Reveille Resources (AQSE: REV) has announced the proposed appointment of retired US Army Lieutenant General Andrew M. Rohling, former Deputy Chair of the NATO Military Committee, as a Non-Executive Director, strengthening its international strategic expertise as it advances uranium exploration projects in Italy.

The appointment remains subject to regulatory due diligence and the necessary corporate approvals, with a further announcement expected once the process is complete.

Rohling brings more than 35 years of military leadership and international security experience, including senior positions within the United States Army and NATO.

He served as Deputy Chair of the NATO Military Committee from February 2024, working alongside senior military representatives from the alliance’s 32 member countries and supporting strategic advice to NATO’s political leadership.

His responsibilities included defence planning, nuclear strategy, deterrence, emerging technologies and transatlantic security cooperation.

Before joining NATO’s senior leadership, Rohling served as Deputy Commanding General of US Army Europe and Africa, overseeing military cooperation and operational activities across both continents.

His previous appointments included Commanding General of the US Army Southern European Task Force – Africa and senior operational roles within NATO’s Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.

Rohling also commanded the 173rd Airborne Brigade, based in Vicenza, Italy, during operations in Afghanistan.

His extensive military experience in Italy, where he continues to reside, provides familiarity with the country’s institutions and strategic environment.

Reveille believes his international relationships and strategic experience will support the development of its Novazza and Val Vedello uranium projects in Lombardy, alongside its plans to evaluate additional uranium opportunities in Western-aligned jurisdictions.

The company is progressing exploration permit applications for Novazza and Val Vedello, described as Italy’s largest historical uranium deposits, as European interest in nuclear energy and secure fuel supplies continues to grow.

Rohling welcomed the proposed appointment, highlighting the increasing importance of energy security, reliable critical mineral supply chains and access to uranium resources.

He said his longstanding connections with Italy and experience in international security would provide a basis for supporting Reveille’s development strategy.

Executive Director Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo described Rohling’s proposed appointment as a further step in strengthening the company’s leadership.

He highlighted the former NATO commander’s experience in strategic planning, transatlantic relations and international security, alongside his familiarity with Italy.

The proposed Board appointment follows Reveille’s recent recruitment of senior uranium industry advisers, including Yellow Cake Chief Financial Officer Carole Whittall and investment specialist Sofia Bianchi.

Together, these appointments broaden the company’s access to experience across uranium markets, corporate finance, mining development and international strategic affairs.

For investors, Rohling’s proposed appointment would add senior international security and governance experience to Reveille’s Board, potentially supporting its engagement with stakeholders as the company develops its uranium exploration portfolio.

However, the appointment has not yet become effective and does not constitute a new project approval, funding commitment or commercial agreement.

Attention will now turn to completion of the appointment process, progress on the Novazza and Val Vedello exploration permits and Reveille’s assessment of additional uranium acquisitions, as the company pursues its strategy of developing uranium resources in Western-aligned markets.
