Physiomics plc (AIM: PYC) has secured new contracts worth more than £205,000, extending a strong run of commercial wins for the mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics specialist.
The latest awards span several of the company’s service lines and take the total value of contracts secured since May 2026 to more than £750,000.
Significantly, Physiomics said the £750,000 of awards secured in a little over four months is equivalent to 95% of the revenue reported for the entire 2024-25 financial year.
While the contract values will be recognised as revenue over their respective project delivery periods, the company believes the pace of new business provides a strong indication of the commercial progress being made.
Physiomics provides mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics services supporting the development of new therapeutics and personalised medicine.
Alongside its contracted work, the company said it is experiencing growing international interest in its specialist modelling capabilities, including potential research and clinical collaborations exploring new approaches to cancer treatment.
A number of additional commercial and collaborative opportunities are currently under discussion, although Physiomics cautioned that there is no certainty these will result in contracts or formal agreements.
The company believes the breadth of interest reflects its growing profile in areas including predictive modelling, data-driven healthcare and personalised medicine.
The latest contract momentum follows a broader operational and commercial restructuring at Physiomics, including the recent promotion of Jesse Thissen to chief operating officer.
Thissen initially led development of the company’s Biometrics service line and now has responsibility for day-to-day operations as Physiomics seeks to translate its scientific capabilities into sustainable commercial growth.
The company is also introducing tighter cost controls, more efficient deployment of resources and greater focus on opportunities offering the strongest potential commercial returns, with the stated objective of moving towards sustainable profitability.
Further investment is being made in IT infrastructure, quality standards and internal processes, which Physiomics expects will improve the security and scalability of its operations and strengthen its ability to compete for larger and more complex contracts.
Executive director Mike Whitlow said securing more than £750,000 of contracts in just over four months represented an important measure of the company’s progress, particularly given the comparison with revenue generated across the previous full financial year.
Chief operating officer Jesse Thissen said the recent momentum demonstrated the benefits of combining the company’s scientific expertise with stronger operational foundations and commercial execution.
With more than £205,000 of new contracts now added to an award pipeline exceeding £750,000 since May, attention will turn to whether Physiomics can convert its additional commercial and international collaborative discussions into further contract wins and continue building towards sustainable profitability.
