Evangelos Mytilineos, Chairman and CEO, noted the company’s strong ties to Britain, highlighted by 10 ongoing projects. He views the potential London listing as a significant endorsement for the City, which has seen several high-profile companies relocate their listings recently.
Notable firms like CRH, Ferguson, and Tui have moved their primary listings from London, with Flutter Entertainment and BHP involved in similar transitions, impacting the FTSE 100.
In a BBC Radio 4 interview, Mr. Mytilineos stated that although a final decision hasn’t been made, one key reason for considering the London Stock Exchange is its potential for recovery and growth in the coming years. He expressed strong confidence in London’s enduring role as Europe’s main financial hub.
