Guardian Metal appoints Jake Mather as chief financial officer

Guardian Metal Resources plc (LON: GMET, OTCQX:GMTLF, NYSE A:GMTL) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Jake Mather as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 26, 2026.

Mather brings over 20 years of mining finance experience, including previous roles as CFO at Golden Queen Mining Company and VP of Business Development at Ceibo, adding significant financial and strategic expertise to the group.

At the same time, Benjamin James Hodges will transition from Finance Director to Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. During his tenure, Hodges played a key role in raising over $21 million and overseeing the acquisition of the Tempiute Tungsten Mine & Mill.

The changes are aimed at strengthening governance and supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
