Alien Metals Limited (AIM: UFO) has reported encouraging exploration progress at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia, with its joint venture partner announcing significant drill results that extend known silver mineralisation beyond the current resource boundary.
Recent reverse circulation drilling has successfully intersected silver mineralisation up to 70 metres north of the existing maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, demonstrating that the system remains open and highlighting the potential for future resource expansion.
Key drill results include intersections of 60 metres grading 25 g/t silver, 26 metres grading 31 g/t silver, and a higher-grade zone returning 2 metres at 96 g/t silver. Importantly, much of the newly identified mineralisation lies outside the current resource model, suggesting meaningful upside potential for the project.
The results strengthen confidence in the scale and continuity of the Elizabeth Hill mineralised system and support ongoing efforts to expand the project’s resource base.
Additional assay results from the remaining drill holes are still pending and could provide further evidence of resource growth. At the same time, a diamond drilling programme is underway to test the mineralisation at depth and assess the potential for extensions beneath the currently defined zones.
Alongside exploration activities, economic studies are progressing to evaluate potential development pathways for the project. These studies will help determine the most effective route towards commercialisation while incorporating any future resource upgrades.
The latest results reinforce Elizabeth Hill’s position as one of Australia’s emerging silver development projects, with continued drilling success offering the potential to significantly enhance the project’s overall scale and value.
