Pri0r1ty Intelligence launches AI-powered HR platform as Pirkx approaches profitability

Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group PLC (AIM: PR1; OTC: PRIAF) has reported encouraging progress following its acquisition of employee wellbeing platform Pirkx, which now serves 9,859 contracted members across 525 companies and generates £42,700 in monthly recurring revenue.

The AI-focused business also announced the launch of Pri0r1ty People, a new artificial intelligence-powered human resources platform combining workforce management tools with Pirkx’s existing employee benefits and wellbeing services.

The development follows Pri0r1ty’s acquisition of Pirkx in September 2026 and forms part of its strategy to expand recurring software revenues through acquisitions, technology integration and cross-selling opportunities.

Pirkx currently has 9,859 contracted users across 525 companies, with reported platform engagement of 75%. The business also recorded organic user growth of more than 1.5% during September, despite undertaking no sales or marketing activity during the acquisition period.

The platform generates monthly recurring revenue of £42,700, equivalent to approximately £512,400 annually if current subscription revenues are maintained.

Following a technology and restructuring programme, Pri0r1ty expects operating costs to fall significantly from February 2027, potentially allowing Pirkx to become operationally cash-flow positive in early 2027.

Management said this outcome would depend on contracted revenues being maintained or increased, with the potential to achieve profitability ahead of its original internal forecasts.

The launch of Pri0r1ty People represents a major expansion of the group’s software offering, transforming Pirkx from a standalone wellbeing and benefits service into part of a broader AI-powered HR management platform.

The new system brings together employee records, holiday management, performance appraisals, contractor administration, secure document storage and workplace complaints handling within a single application.

An AI-powered HR assistant allows employees to ask questions about company policies, check leave balances and submit holiday requests using everyday language.

The assistant can be accessed through WhatsApp Business, email and SMS, allowing employees to interact with HR services without needing to navigate conventional administrative systems.

Managers can also use AI-generated performance appraisal templates, automated organisational charts and integrated workforce calendars to simplify routine HR processes.

Additional functionality includes contractor timesheets, automated cost calculations, approval workflows and secure management of employee documentation.

Pirkx’s wellbeing and employee benefits services are integrated directly into the new platform, allowing businesses to manage employee administration and access workplace benefits through the same system.

Pri0r1ty intends to introduce the platform initially to Pirkx’s existing 525 contracted companies, before expanding availability across its wider customer base.

The company believes this provides an immediate cross-selling opportunity, potentially increasing subscription revenues without requiring a substantial increase in customer acquisition expenditure.

The existing Pirkx platform has already demonstrated significant customer activity, with members spending more than £3.1 million through its cards, vouchers, cinema and online offers since launch.

Users have generated over £187,000 in savings, including £115,000 in cashback, while participating in more than 18,000 competitions and 9,300 lottery draws.

The platform has also recorded more than 295,000 logins, providing Pri0r1ty with an established user base for introducing additional AI-powered services.

Chief Technology Officer Daniel Gee said the acquisition had brought nearly 10,000 members and a recurring-revenue business into the group, with existing income already covering almost all operating costs.

He highlighted the opportunity to use Pri0r1ty’s existing AI infrastructure to develop Pirkx into a more comprehensive workforce management product while improving its underlying financial performance.

Gee said the combination of established customers, recurring subscriptions and integrated technology created opportunities to increase revenue from existing business relationships.

The company also confirmed that it is actively evaluating further acquisitions of complementary subscription-based businesses, seeking to replicate the Pirkx model.

Its strategy involves acquiring businesses with established customer relationships and recurring revenue, reducing operating costs where possible, and introducing additional products through the wider Pri0r1ty platform.

Management believes this approach could accelerate growth in customer numbers and recurring SaaS income while expanding the market for its AI services.

For investors, the Pirkx update provides evidence of an established revenue base and a potential near-term route to operating profitability, alongside opportunities to increase customer spending through the launch of Pri0r1ty People.

However, the projected move into positive operating cash flow remains conditional on successful restructuring and maintaining existing contracted revenues. The company has not yet disclosed additional subscription income generated by the new HR platform.

Attention will now turn to Pirkx’s operating performance following the planned February 2027 cost reductions, adoption of Pri0r1ty People among its 525 contracted companies and progress on further acquisitions, as the group seeks to build a larger recurring-revenue AI software business.
