Neo Energy Metals plc said non-executive director Sajjad Sabur increased his shareholding in the company through a series of open-market purchases earlier this month.
Sabur acquired a total of 1,762,372 ordinary shares across transactions completed on May 15 and May 18, 2026, at prices of 1.0125 pence and 1.02 pence per share, respectively.
Following the purchases, he now holds 2,192,372 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.1% of the company’s issued share capital.
The transactions are likely to be viewed positively by investors as a sign of board-level confidence in Neo Energy Metals’ uranium and gold development portfolio in South Africa.
The company’s projects collectively host resources of approximately 31.5 million pounds of uranium and 1.2 million ounces of gold.
