Shares in Ascent Resources PLC rose by 70% following the company’s update on its Energy Charter Treaty claim against the Republic of Slovenia.
The sharp increase in investor interest followed the Arbitration Tribunal’s confirmation that it requires no further submissions from either party, thereby bringing the submission phase to a close.
The Tribunal’s award on the merits of the case is anticipated by the end of Q1 2026, in line with the 240-day timeline under the 2022 ICSID Convention Arbitration Rules.
