Hydrogen Utopia International PLC has announced that its subsidiary, King Fild, through the Ohrid Organics operation, has successfully completed its initial medicinal cannabis harvest at a facility in Northern Macedonia.
The total yield of the harvest was 200kg, of which 50kg was allocated for testing King Fild’s drying technology. Plans are already underway for a second harvest, expected to yield around 250kg.
HUI has reported that a UK distributor has placed an order for 10kg of the product at €2.50 per gram, with prospects of increasing the order to 50kg monthly.
Aleksandra Binkowska, CEO of Hydrogen Utopia, expressed her enthusiasm about the first harvest by Ohrid Organics, the burgeoning interest in the medicinal cannabis flowers, and the inaugural order from a UK distributor for King Fild.
She emphasized Ohrid Organics’ strategy to establish robust partnerships with various distributors in different regions. Binkowska also highlighted that Ohrid Organics’ success is instrumental in advancing the development of the first waste plastic to hydrogen facility, which remains her primary objective.
This partnership between HUI and King Fild was solidified after HUI exercised an option to acquire a 49% stake in Ohrid in late December.
Further orders by other purchasers are expected this month.
