80 Mile highlights Nasdaq debut for Greenland Energy

80 Mile PLC has announced that its partner, Greenland Energy Company (GLND), has begun trading on NASDAQ following the acquisition of Greenland Exploration Limited.

The company retains a 30% interest in the Jameson liquid hydrocarbon project, with GLND’s estimated market capitalisation of $345 million implying a notional value of around $104 million for 80 Mile’s stake.

The Jameson project is estimated to contain 13.03 billion barrels of gross un-risked recoverable prospective oil resources, with 80 Mile’s share equating to approximately 3.9 billion barrels.

Drilling is expected to commence in the second half of 2026, fully funded by GLND, marking a key step toward unlocking the project’s potential.

80 Mile highlights “pivotal moment” for Jameson project

80 Mile PLC has described the NASDAQ listing of its partner, Greenland Energy Company, as a major milestone for the Jameson project.

Chief Operating Officer Olga Solovieva said the move provides independent market validation of the asset’s scale and strategic importance, marking a turning point in its development.

She highlighted that the creation of Greenland Energy Company establishes a dedicated, publicly listed vehicle focused on funding and executing the project’s maiden drilling campaign—shifting Jameson from a technically defined opportunity to a fully funded, execution-ready programme.

Under the structure, 80 Mile retains a 30% carried interest, benefiting from its partner’s financial strength, technical expertise, and operational focus.

With equipment mobilisation underway and planning well advanced, the project is now moving into its next phase, pending standard regulatory approvals.
