Going to one of their shows in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, London, or Edinburgh? Don’t worry—there are still plenty of accommodation options available.
If you’re one of the lucky Oasis fans who scored a ticket to a summer gig far from home, your next priority is securing accommodation—quickly.
Since the announcement of Oasis’s 2025 summer tour, hotel prices in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Edinburgh have surged. Hotels in these cities have been criticised on social media for cancelling rooms and reselling them at inflated rates. Media outlets have reported that some accommodations have more than tripled their rates for the tour dates.
For example, an apartment in Cardiff that cost £266 on June 27, 2025, had jumped to £791 by July 4, the tour’s opening night.
But all is not lost—there are still rooms available if you act fast and follow these tips to find the best accommodation for your Oasis gig next summer:

Expand Your Search
To find the best options, use multiple booking sites. Reliable platforms include booking.com, uk.hotels.com, trivago.co.uk, airbnb.co.uk, expedia.co.uk, vrbo.com, and hostelworld.com. The Telegraph also offers 10,000 hotel reviews, including many in the five tour cities of Dublin, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
Expect Higher Prices
If you haven’t booked yet, don’t expect bargains. Many hotels are sold out, and the remaining ones have raised their prices. Prepare to pay significantly more than usual for a night’s stay in these cities.
Book Now
Hotels typically list rooms and rates about a year in advance. With the Oasis tour dates approaching, waiting for better deals is unlikely to pay off. The demand from fans means last-minute deals are rare.
Consider Group Options
Booking for a group can be more economical. For instance, an apartment priced at £1,500 might seem steep, but when split among eight people, it’s just £200 each. Airbnb and Vrbo are great for finding larger self-catering options, and booking.com offers aparthotels.
Be Cautious of Scams
With so many fans scrambling for rooms, scammers are active. Avoid deals that seem too good to be true or require large deposits. Use trusted booking sites, verify URLs, and pay with a credit card for added protection.
Look for Out-of-Town Options
If city-center accommodations are full, consider staying in nearby towns and commuting to the gig. Ensure you have reliable transport options or book a taxi in advance.
City-Specific Tips:
- Cardiff: Look for accommodations in Newport, just a 12-minute train ride away. Trains run until 12:30am, so you can catch the encore.
- Manchester: For the Heaton Park dates, check options in Prestwich, Whitefield, Radcliffe, and Bury. Bury is only 16 minutes by tram.
- Edinburgh: With the Edinburgh Fringe overlapping, hotels are scarce. Consider taking a train to Glasgow for more availability, with the last train at 11:45pm.
- Dublin: If Dublin fills up, Connolly Station links to Drogheda and Balbriggan, which might offer available accommodations.
- London: Finding a place in London shouldn’t be difficult, but for convenience, consider staying in Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, or High Wycombe, all under an hour away via Chiltern Railway.
Act fast to secure your accommodation and ensure your Oasis experience is unforgettable!
