The tenement will move towards grant and become live in early 2027, once added to Wishbone’s Native Title Agreement. This will make Wishbone one of the most significant tenement holders in the region with all its assets in close proximity to Telfer and Havieron.\n\n**Ed Mead, Wishbone Gold WA director, commented:**\n\n“To have registered this substantial tenement so close to the Havieron gold-copper mine is a major opportunity for Wishbone.  The 11km strike of the magnetic feature associated with the Havieron Thrust Fault, that runs into Greatland’s Havieron and Scallywag deposits provides excellent targets for drilling. In addition, the announcement on 20 July by ASX-listed Hamelin Gold which said substantial gold intersections had been found at its Day Dawn project only 10km north-west of Telfer, highlights that there is significant gold mineralisation potential still to be discovered in the general Telfer area. That is why this announcement is so important to the future prospects of Wishbone.”\n\nThe Havieron Thrust (or Havieron Thrust Fault) (Figure 2) is a key structural feature in the Paterson Province. It plays a vital role in controlling the emplacement and localisation of high-grade gold-copper mineralisation at the world-class Havieron deposit, which is located about 45 km east of the Telfer mine.\n\nThe Havieron Thrust Fault is part of the complex fold-and-thrust belt of the Neoproterozoic Paterson Orogen and acts as a deep crustal pathway for magmatic-hydrothermal fluids and mafic intrusions linked to the region’s gold-copper breccia systems.\n\nGreatland’s Havieron deposit sits along the structural corridors and splays associated with this major tectonic feature, lying hidden beneath roughly 400 to 450 meters of the younger Phanerozoic sedimentary cover of the Canning/Yaneena Basin.\n\nExploration when the tenement is fully granted, will target extensions, splays, and parallel structures along the Havieron Thrust corridor focused on finding similar blind gold-copper deposits.\n\n ![](https://dw6uz0omxro53.cloudfront.net/3809929/2698a944-2c9c-4d09-b650-ed21930e80d1.png)\n\nFigure 1: Location of E 45/7348 in relation to Greatland’s Havieron and Telfer gold-copper mines. Looking due west towards Telfer the map also shows the proximity of Hamelin Gold (Day Dawn gold project), Wishbone’s Red Setter gold-copper Project, and Nifty copper mine.\n\n ![](https://dw6uz0omxro53.cloudfront.net/3809929/07886092-955d-46f5-953e-4709c757f1f8.png)\n\nFigure 2: New tenement E 45/7348 plotted on Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA701) 90m edge zone Reverse to Pole (RTP) magnetics.\n\nEND\n\nFor more information on Wishbone, please visit the Company’s website.\n\n[www.wishbonegold.com](http://www.wishbonegold.com/).\n\nFor further information, please contact:\n\n|   |   |\n| --- | --- |\n| Wishbone Gold PLC |  |\n|   Richard Poulden, Chairman |   Tel: +971 4 584 6284 |"}
