Asian markets rebound as Wall Street rally lifts sentiment

Asian shares rose on Thursday, tracking overnight gains on Wall Street after upbeat economic data and corporate earnings helped restore investor confidence following a volatile start to the week.

In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 climbed 1.5% to 50,959.14, supported by a 1.3% rise in Nissan Motor, which announced plans to sell its Yokohama headquarters to boost liquidity ahead of its earnings release later in the day.
