Union Jack Oil reassures shareholders after withdrawn EGM notice

Union Jack Oil plc (AIM: UJO, OTCQB: UJOGF) has confirmed receipt of a second purported requisition notice dated January 19, 2026, at 17:19 (the “Second Purported Notice”) from former director Craig Howie.

Following a review of the Second Purported Notice and after taking legal advice, the company concluded that the notice was not valid.

Subsequently, at 07:16 on January 20, 2026, prior to the market opening, Mr Howie informed the company that he had withdrawn the Second Purported Notice.

As a result, media commentary published earlier today in relation to the Second Purported Notice was premature, as the notice had been withdrawn before the market opened.
