Ukraine unveils stamps celebrating Kerch bridge explosion – hours after the attack

The Ukrainian Post Office released a new stamp to celebrate the destruction of the Crimea bridge just hours after an alleged attack.

The stamp makes an analogy between the destruction and triumph of the bridge, a project of prestige for Vladimir Putin, as well as the hubris surrounding the sinking, in 1912, of the Titanic, which was supposed to be indestructible.

The stamp’s drawing shows two characters who look like Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet, as they embrace in the iconic scene from Titanic (1997) just before the doomed ocean liner crashes into an iceberg.

The stamp shows the two figures standing on the edge of a demolished bridge. Smoke billows from the ruins behind them.
