It would appear that there is something of a land grab going on for Tirupati Graphite (TGR), the specialist graphite producer.

The company said it noted the announcement released by ASX listed Battery Minerals Limited regarding the granting of the Mining Licence for the Balama Central Graphite Project for production of 50,000tpa of graphite concentrate. Tirupati has agreed to acquire Suni Resources SA from Battery Minerals, which holds the construction initiated Montepuez Graphite Project and the advanced feasibility study stage Balama Central Graphite Project.

It may be that the selling pressure, despite months of positive newsflow, maybe nearer an end for cybersecurity / online threat hunter Brandshield Systems (BRSD). A TR1 issued by spread bet group Spreadex showed that it has reduced its position in the stock from 3% to just under 2%.

There was a chunky update from Velocys (VLS), the sustainable fuels technology company. Velocys Renewables LLC, has entered into a MoU for the offtake of Sustainable Aviation Fuel to be produced at the Bayou Fuels project in Mississippi, USA, with International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. The MoU covers the purchase by IAG’s constituent airlines, which includes British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia amongst others, of an expected 73 million gallons of SAF, in aggregate, at a fixed price.

Enteq Technologies (NTQ), the energy services technology and equipment supplier announce the signing of two exclusive distribution agreements with third-party technology providers to enhance and complement Enteq’s product range. Enteq has signed an agreement with Houston, Texas, based Erdos Miller, Inc. to be the exclusive distributor outside North America for two of their major product lines.

Evgen Pharma (EVG), a clinical stage drug development company, noted the publication of data in preclinical models of glioblastoma (GBM) generated by Dr Claudio Festuccia and colleagues at the Universities of Aquila, Rome and Rieti, Italy. The company said the data generated underpins it decision to focus on glioblastoma as one of its core programmes. Its design work on a Phase 2 study in glioblastoma patients is well advanced and it hopes to contribute a new treatment option for patients with this disease.

Image Scan (AIM: IGE), specialists in the field of X-ray imaging, announced the award of a contract to supply a portable X-ray scanning system to a Federal Agency in the USA. The contract is the first part of a framework order that could lead to the purchase of a further twelve systems. The ThreatScan®-LS3 system consists of a compact imaging panel, with wireless communication and Image Scan’s advanced ThreatSpect image processing software.

There was a handy cash injection for Emmerson (EML), the Moroccan focused potash development company. It said it has secured a strategic investment of up to $46.75 million from a group of investors to support the development of the Khemisset Potash Project. The primary investor is Global Sustainable Minerals Pte Ltd, a Singapore domiciled investment vehicle backed by a significant south-east Asian investor. The investment will be delivered in two tranches, at 6p and 8.2p – significantly above the present share price.

Dekel Agri-Vision (DKL), the West African agriculture company, provide an October production update for its Ayenouan palm oil project in Côte d’Ivoire and an update on the timing of the commencement of production of its large scale cashew processing plant at Tiebissou, Côte d’Ivoire. The company said, “A year of strong production and even stronger prices continues to set Dekel up for a record year of financial performance in our palm oil operation in 2021. Given current prices remain materially higher than we achieved in this year’s high season earlier in the year we remain optimistic of a further uplift in the financial performance of the palm oil operation in 2022.”

Power Metal Resources (POW) the London listed exploration company, and frequent RNS releaser, announced a uranium exploration portfolio expansion at its 100% owned interests surrounding the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Total land holdings surrounding the Athabasca Basin have now been increased by 144.84 km2 to a total land holding of 411.96 km2, which includes additional ground staked surrounding the Company’s Thibaut Lake, Clearwater, and Reitenbach Uranium properties – representing a 54.2% increase in total land holdings.

KEFI Gold and Copper (KEFI), the gold and copper exploration and development company, provided an update on the status of the Hawiah Copper-Gold VMS Project in Saudi Arabia. The company said the final drill assay results have been received, with a MRE underway. A resource upgrade is due in December 2021 with expected increase in grade and tonnage. A Preliminary Feasibility Study has commenced, targeting development in 2023.

Zenova Group (ZED), a provider of innovative fire safety and heat management technology and products, said that it has secured a major contract for the supply of its products in Australia. The three-year contract, which commences on 1 January 2022, is with Spark Global Australia Pty Ltd in Victoria, Australia.

It was time to crack open the champagne at Ferro-Alloy Resources (FAR), the vanadium producer, as it has made its first commercial sale of ferro-molybdenum and completed testing of the production of ferro-vanadium. Not surprisingly, FAR said it is pleased that the first commercial contract for sale has been signed.

Vast Resources (VAST), the AIM-listed mining company, updated on its producing Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine (‘Baita Plai’) in Romania. Further to the previous announcement made on 28 October 2021 regarding confirmation of the next sale of concentrate, the company confirmed that this sale has been completed.

Karelian Diamond Resources (KDR) announced results from its stream sediment sampling programme focused in Northern Ireland. Highly anomalous amounts of chromite and forsterite olivine have been encountered and metamorphic massive sulphide indicator minerals also identified. Local sampling programme confirms and builds on previous regional studies meaning that there are significant implications for additional targets in Karelian’s Northern Ireland licence

ZOO Digital Group (ZOO), a provider of cloud-based localisation and digital media services, announced strong growth in its financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2021. The company said structural tailwinds for global content and its proprietary end-to-end services drove strong sales growth with revenues up 64% to $26.9 million. This was led by a 142% increase in media services and a 30% increase in localisation work.

BATM (BVC), a provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, said that it has been awarded a cyber security contract worth $3.5m and expects to receive the full value in 2022. The contract is with the Group’s long-standing government defence department customer. The Group will provide hardware and software as part of its network cyber security solution.
