Quantum Blockchain Technologies (QBT) announced that its first phase of the FPGA development has now been completed. The company said that its disruptive Bitcoin mining technology development is well underway.

Bitcoin algorithm core architecture for an FPGA chip have been selected and modification completed. To keep costs low, initial testing has been performed on an FPGA chip. The architecture design work for ASIC prototype is to commence before year end. Testing will commence on the final design of the more expensive / faster ASIC prototype chip by end of Q1 2022. The ultimate goal is to produce an enhanced 7 nanometers ASIC chip. Early internal calculations show a final chip that could perform 24% quicker than current best available ASIC.
There was further progress/expansion for East Imperial (EISB), the global purveyor of ultra-premium beverages, as it announced the appointment of SUTL Group as the company’s exclusive distribution partner in Singapore. SUTL will supply East Imperial’s entire range throughout Singapore. Through its extensive network, SUTL has assisted in distributing and growing global brands, which are now highly recognised throughout the region. East Imperial said that today’s announcement reflects further progress in its plans to accelerate our retail offering, a core element of its growth strategy.
Agronomics Limited (ANIC), the company focused on the field of cellular agriculture, said that its unaudited NAV on 30 September 2021 was 12.99p, including un-invested cash of £55.1 million. Net Assets stand at £103.9 million, including investments of £50.5 million. This quarter’s NAV per share represents an increase of 10.93% from the previous quarter’s NAV of 11.71p.
There was a degree of intrigue at crypto miner Argo Blockchain (ARB). On November 4, 2021, representatives of Argo held a meeting with Anthony Coyle. During the meeting, they inadvertently disclosed certain information that could be viewed as material. Mr. Coyle subsequently wrote on Twitter that Argo claimed a 25% uplift in hash-rate resulting from the use of immersion cooling technology. Argo said it does not have sufficient data to make such a claim, and did not claim this – something which rather suggests that the alleged inside information was not really “inside.”
President Energy (PPC), the energy company, updated in relation to its subsidiary Atome Energy PLC President is pleased to note the text of an announcement made by Atome Energy and that a Memorandum of Understanding has now been signed with ANDE, the national electric power company of Paraguay, for supply for up to 250 MW of power.
Edenville Energy (EDL) updated on its Rukwa Coal Project in southwest Tanzania for the month of October 2021, as it continues to ramp up production and sales to a targeted output of 3,000 tonnes per month of washed coal later this year. Last month the company mined 2,240 tonnes of Run of Mine coal and produced 1,024 tonnes of washed coal through its wash plant, representing an increase of over 150% on the September 2021 figures. A further 7,680 tonnes of waste was also moved, opening up greater access to the coal deposit.
Proton Motor Power Systems plc (PPS), the designer, developer and producer of fuel cells announced that following the recent extension of the co-operation agreement with DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH it has a received an order from DB Bahnbau for a PM Frame fuel cell system an entered into a maintenance services contract for 22 systems with DB Bahnbau acting as general contractor.
There could be fun ahead as far as Vast Resources (VAST), the AIM-listed mining company, as it said it “is pleased to provide the market with answers to a number of questions submitted by shareholders during recent weeks.” The answers to these questions are intended to provide further clarity over and above the information issued in the recent annual report and announcement of 25 October 2021 regarding the Company Update. The Board and management said it should be note that some questions have been omitted “due to regulatory or commercial sensitivity restrictions.” Presumably, questions regarding the share price will escape this filter.
Berkeley Energia (BKY) said that further to its announcement on 3 November 2021 in relation to a claim received from Singapore Mining Acquisition Co Pte Ltd, the company has been served with a writ for proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria at the Melbourne Commercial Court. Berkeley strongly disputes the allegations and claim made by OIA and is seeking legal advice in relation to the matter.
