Today’s charts are the **FTSE 100, DAX, Dow, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Gold, WTI Crude Oil, 80 Mile, Gran Tierra, Georgina, KEFI, London BTC, Marechale, Medpal, Pensana, Rockfire, S4, Seraphim.**\n\nMarkets are looking increasingly geared towards peace prospects, although the technical setups still matter more than headlines. The FTSE 100 is calm, the DAX and Dow are pushing higher, gold has found fresh momentum, and crude oil is struggling below a key long-term moving average.\n\n###### As always, do your own research and treat these as chart-based observations rather than hard recommendations\n\n## Major Indices: DAX and Dow Lead the Risk-On Move\n\n### FTSE 100: Holding Above 10,700 Is the Priority\n\nThe FTSE 100 has been relatively subdued while the market waits for the alleged final peace deal. Recent support sits around **10,830**, with the more important former July resistance level near **10,760**.\n\nThe main bullish trigger would be an end-of-day close above the March resistance line at roughly **11,050**. A sustained break there would open the way towards **11,500**, potentially by the end of the month.\n\nOn the downside, a move back below 10,760 could trigger a sharper retracement towards the 50-day moving average near **10,545**. Ideally, the index remains above the **10,700** area and keeps the current recovery structure intact.\n\n### DAX: Peace Optimism Has Already Lifted the Index\n\nThe DAX has responded much more enthusiastically to improving peace expectations. The earlier end-of-month target of **26,300** has already been reached.\n\nAbove that level, the focus turns to the upper boundary of the rising trend channel from March. That projects towards **27,200** by the end of the month.\n\nThe key area to protect is former late-July resistance at approximately **25,500 to 25,600**. The recent consolidation resembles a small bull flag, so remaining above that zone would keep the upside case alive.\n\n### Dow: A Gap Above Resistance Is a Strong Momentum Signal\n\nThe Dow looks like the market gaining the most from the current mood. It has gapped above resistance, and that is often one of the strongest momentum signals available on a chart.\n\nThe previous target around **53,300** has been surpassed. The next best-case target is near **54,900**, based on a projected November resistance line.\n\nIf the market loses momentum, the July resistance breakout area around **52,700** is the obvious retracement destination. Given the high expectations now built into the market, that risk should not be ignored.\n\n## Cryptocurrency Charts: Bitcoin Stabilises While Ethereum Consolidates\n\n### Bitcoin: Dips Towards the 50-Day Average Remain Constructive\n\nBitcoin has managed to regain the right side of its 50-day moving average, currently around **63,100**. That is the important positive development, even if the latest price action has started to soften.\n\nFor now, dips towards the 50-day moving average can be regarded as buying opportunities, with mid-July support near **61,000** acting as the key risk level.\n\nA breakdown below that support would weaken the setup considerably and could expose the late-March support projection around **56,000**. At present, that remains the less likely scenario.\n\nThe RSI remains unconvincing because it is hovering either side of the neutral 50 level. That does not provide a particularly strong momentum signal, so price needs to remain above the 50-day line to keep the technical picture constructive.\n\n### Ethereum: A Rising 50-Day Line Supports the Consolidation\n\nEthereum is continuing to consolidate around a rising 50-day moving average, which is encouraging. The market has bounced towards the **1,800** area, with the 50-day line sitting near **1,796**.\n\nAs long as Ethereum stays above that moving average, the next target is the 200-day moving average around **2,073**. That remains the likely upside objective later in the month.\n\nThe RSI is holding around the neutral 50 level, which is a modest positive. It suggests the market is not overextended while it builds a base.\n\n## Commodities: Gold Breaks Higher While Crude Oil Remains Vulnerable\n\n### Gold: Back Above 4,090 and Looking Bullish Again\n\nGold is up around 2% and has broken above resistance from early last month in the **4,090 to 4,100** area. Recent price action has once again shown that peace-related developments can coincide with a stronger gold market.\n\nThe longer gold remains above 4,090, the greater the chance of a return to late-June resistance around **4,380**. That would mark a significant change after a long period of consolidation.\n\nThe RSI trend line is also beginning to look more supportive, with several touchpoints suggesting that bullish momentum may finally be returning.\n\nFor those wanting greater confirmation, a break above July resistance around **4,205** would provide a stronger signal that the market is heading towards 4,380.\n\n### WTI Crude Oil: Below the 200-Day Average, Momentum Points Lower\n\nCrude oil is underperforming despite the absence of a final peace announcement. The market is now below its 200-day moving average near **$76.35**, which had been the key bearish call.\n\nThe longer WTI remains below that level, the greater the chance of a further move towards **$70**. That outcome is not inevitable, but it has to be part of the technical calculation, particularly with a potentially sticky peace deal involving Iran.\n\nAn end-of-day close back above the 200-day moving average would improve the outlook and could bring **$80** back into view, where the 50-day moving average sits.\n\nFor now, the two recent downside gaps suggest that momentum is biased towards $70, with rallies likely capped around $80 in the near term.\n\n## UK Shares: Breakouts, Gap Moves and Recovery Setups\n\n- **80 Mile: Resistance Break Opens the Door to 1p: **80 Mile is moving sharply higher, perhaps with a touch of overenthusiasm, but the technical position is improving. The shares are breaking the resistance line from March around **0.76p**. Above that level, the first target is the 200-day moving average near **0.83p**. A sustained move beyond there could bring the much-discussed **1p** level back into play. The preferred scenario is for the shares to stay above **0.8p** and work towards 1p by the end of the month. Ideally, there is no need to revisit the old rising trend line support around **0.7p**.\n\n- **Gran Tierra: Rising Trend Channel Points to £9: **Gran Tierra delivered a strong announcement, and the chart adds another positive angle. The shares are trading within a rising trend channel that has been in place since the summer of 2024. The upper boundary of that channel points towards **£9**, potentially by late September or into October. The bullish setup remains valid while the shares stay above recent broken resistance around **£6.20**.\n\n- **Georgina Energy: Holding Above 12p Keeps the Recovery Alive: **Georgina Energy has bounced well following its 9p placing. Some may have expected that placing to end the rally, but the chart suggests there may be further upside. An end-of-day close above **14.6p** would clear the upper parallel of the current formation and signal a move towards **21p** by the end of the month. The key support area is around **12p**, which has become an important recent average trading zone. While the shares remain above that level, a move towards 20p remains possible.\n\n- **KEFI: Consolidation Above the 50-Day Average Looks Encouraging: **KEFI remains a company that attracts more than its fair share of silly commentary, despite looking like a more credible business than it has been in the past. Technically, the shares are building a base. The old 1p level has become support, while the 50-day moving average near **1.07p** is now providing additional backing. The longer KEFI stays above that moving average, the better the chance of a move towards **1.34p** by the end of next month. The missing piece is a rising 50-day line. That would reinforce the recovery case, particularly now that the RSI has moved back above the neutral 50 level.\n\n- **London BTC: Gold Discovery Update Could Mark a Trend Change: **London BTC has issued an upbeat update regarding a gold discovery, and the chart has responded well. The shares have gapped above resistance and above the 50-day moving average at around **1.62p**. Above that level, the immediate target is **2p**. The best-case scenario is a move towards **2.2p**, which would fill the top of the June gap by the end of next month. The RSI has also pushed through neutral 50 following the gap higher, supporting the idea that a genuine trend change may be underway.\n\n- **Marechale: Gap Higher Through a Rising 50-Day Line: **Marechale was disappointing after retracing a substantial part of its June peak, effectively giving back around half of the earlier move. However, the latest RNS has improved the technical setup. The shares have pushed through a sharply rising 50-day moving average at approximately **5.4p**, and they have done so with a gap higher. That is normally a constructive technical signal. The next target is last month’s resistance around **6.8p**, potentially by the end of the month or sooner.\n\n- **MedPal: 3.3p Gap Support Is the Level to Hold: **MedPal has made progress following its latest update. From a chart perspective, the most important feature is support at the top of the recent gap around **3.3p**. As long as the shares remain above that area, there is scope to fill the gap towards **4p** in the coming days. The rising trend line and the 50-day moving average both sit in that higher zone. Ideally, the share price does not trade back below **3p**.\n\n- **Pensana: Bounce From Channel Support Targets 77p: **Pensana has attracted some bearish coverage recently, but the chart is offering a more constructive perspective. The shares have bounced from the floor of a falling trend channel that has been in place since November. They have also broken recent resistance near **62p**. Above that, the next target is the 50-day moving average around **77p**, potentially by the end of the month. The mid-50p area has additional technical significance, combining the floor of the channel with old support and resistance from last summer.\n\n- **Rockfire: A Recovery Case if 0.12p Holds: **Rockfire remains a case where the fundamentals and share price appear slightly out of step. However, the technical picture is looking better than it has for some time. The shares are holding above the 50-day moving average near **0.13p** on an end-of-day basis, while the RSI has bounced from the neutral 50 zone. A move above **0.16p** would give greater confidence in the recovery. Until then, the working assumption is that support at **0.12p** holds and the price can head towards the top of the range near **0.2p** by the end of next month.\n\n- **S4 Capital: Strong Update Supports a Move Towards 50p: **S4 Capital delivered a decent update, and the market responded with a sharp 17% rise. The technical strength was visible before the announcement, with the shares finding support above the 50-day moving average. There was also an RSI rebound above 50, suggesting that momentum had already begun turning higher. While the shares remain above recent resistance at **43p**, the target is the top of the channel near **50p**.\n\n- **Seraphim Space: Channel Target Sits at 205p: **Seraphim Space is benefiting from excitement around the prospect of a rocket reaching, or rather crashing into, the moon. It may sound like science fiction, but it is becoming science fact. The chart is focused on the top of a rising trend channel around **205p**, with scope for **210p** by the end of the month. The key support level is **174p**, which represents old broken support and June support. Above that area, the rising-channel target remains in play.\n\n## Technical Levels to Keep on the Radar\n\n- **FTSE 100:** 10,760 support, 11,050 breakout trigger, 11,500 upside target.\n\n- **DAX:** Hold 25,500 to 25,600 for a potential move towards 27,200.\n\n- **Dow:** 52,700 is the key pullback level, while 54,900 is the upside objective.\n\n- **Bitcoin:** 63,100 is the 50-day reference point and 61,000 is key support.\n\n- **Gold:** Above 4,090 remains constructive, with 4,205 needed for stronger confirmation.\n\n- **WTI crude oil:** Below $76.35 keeps the $70 risk alive, while a recovery above it could target $80.\n\n- **Seraphim Space:** Above 174p, the rising trend channel points towards 205p to 210p.\n\nThese are chart-based scenarios rather than guarantees. The strongest setups are generally those holding above broken resistance, rising moving averages and RSI 50, while the main risk remains a failure to hold those support levels on an end-of-day closing basis.\n\n**Disclaimer & Declaration of Interest:**\n\nThe information, investment views, and recommendations in this Zaks Traders Cafe interview are provided for general information purposes only.
