Crypto miner Argo Blockchain (ARB) said it mined 225 Bitcoin compared to 167 BTC in June, something which was useful given the recent improvement in the market, and adding up to 1108 BTC mined so far this year. Revenue for July reached £5.60 million (June 2021: £4.36 million) on a margin of approximately 83% for the month of July (June 2021: 78%). Argo now owns 1,496 Bitcoin or BTC equivalent.

Fire safety group Zenova (ZED) and recent stock market newcomer, said that Southdown Housing Association has selected its insulation products for a pilot project with a view to installing the products across the trust’s estate where required. Zenova is working with Southdown Housing in reducing its carbon footprint under the new Government legislation guidelines of zero carbon emissions.

Computer vision technology company Seeing Machines (SEE) offered up a trading update for the year ended 30 June 2021. The company said it has continued its growth despite posed by the COVID-19. FY2021 has marked the start of Automotive royalty revenues as over 100,000 new vehicles now have with Seeing Machines’ Driver Monitoring System (DMS) technology embedded. These royalty revenues are expected to increase sharply over the next 2-3 years.

UK property franchise and financial services group Belvoir (BLV) reported that trading has continued to be exceptionally strong with revenue during the six months to 30 June 2021 up 41% on 2020, and up 53% on 2019 (42% on a like-for-like basis), with substantial revenue growth across both divisions on the back of a very buoyant housing market, despite the impact of COVID 19.

Digital health solutions group Cambridge Cognition (COG), said it achieved a strong performance in the first half of 2021, in particular from digital solutions for clinical trials. Order intake was above the Board’s expectations at £8.6 million, including £6.4 million of substantial orders. The contracted order backlog was £15.2 million on 30 June 2021, up 36% from 31 December 2020 and more than double the value at 30 June 2020. Critical communications markets products maker Filtronic (FTC), announced its full year results for the 12 months ended 31 May 2021. During this time it was awarded a contract to develop and supply battlefield radio communications equipment valued at £1.3m through a new channel to market and its Tower Top Amplifier, supplied to a market leading Original Equipment Manufacturer in critical saw its first significant revenue recognition in Q4 of the financial year.

Next-generation technology investor Pires Investments (PIRI) update on its investment in Sure Valley Ventures, reminding the market that it continues to maintain a decent strike rate in its deals. The latest relates to the sale of Artomatix, one of the companies within the SVV portfolio. In December it announced SVV’s sale of Artomatix, at a valuation some 500% of the price of the original investment in the company.. The healthy outcome here is that Pires’s €796,753 of total net sale proceeds represent a 70% plus return on the company’s initial investment of £1.1 million in SVV.

Online threat hunter Brandshield Systems (BRSD) continues to roll out new contracts, with the latest coming from a customer in the financial services sector. Brandshield said its new client is a multi-billion dollar wealth management company operating globally, and it will provide a broad suite of services to the client. This will include online protection against phishing, fraud and impersonation as part of the annual recurring and auto-renewing SaaS contract.

Actually producing something is always a mighty milestone for any mining company, and the great day has arrived for Pure Gold Mining (PUR). The company said that following a successful commissioning period, the PureGold mine, milling facilities, and other critical systems are now all operating in line with or rapidly approaching design capacity of 800 tonnes of ore per day on a sustainable basis.
