Thruvision secures three new security screening orders across UK and Asian markets

Thruvision Group plc (AIM: THRU) has secured three new orders for its security screening technology across the UK logistics, prison and Asian markets, supporting the company’s strategy to expand its commercial presence and international reach.

The walk-through security specialist confirmed that all three orders involve its 81 Series screening technology, with installations planned across distribution, corrections and international security environments.

In the UK retail distribution sector, Thruvision has secured an order from a major UAE-headquartered global logistics provider for a WalkTHRU screening lane at one of its British distribution centres.

The contract follows a successful two-week proof of concept and builds on an existing customer relationship, with the logistics group having previously purchased Thruvision equipment for a European distribution facility.

The order demonstrates the potential for further deployment of the company’s technology across high-volume logistics operations, where efficient security screening is important to maintaining operational throughput.

Thruvision has also won an order for its SpotCHECK screening system at a privately operated UK prison, following a successful one-week proof of concept.

The installation represents further progress in the company’s targeted prisons and corrections market, where screening technology is used to strengthen security procedures and detect concealed items.

Internationally, Thruvision’s Asian distribution partner has purchased a SpotCHECK system for deployment in a new Asian country, extending the company’s geographical reach into an additional national market.

The expansion highlights the role of strategic partnerships in opening new markets without relying solely on direct sales operations.

Chief Executive Victoria Balchin welcomed the three orders, highlighting their contribution to Thruvision’s growth strategy across retail distribution, correctional facilities and international markets.

She said the UK contracts demonstrated continued commercial progress in sectors with distinct security requirements, while the Asian order represented an encouraging step towards broader international adoption.

The latest contracts provide further evidence of commercial interest in Thruvision’s 81 Series technology, particularly following successful customer trials.

However, the company has not disclosed the financial value of the orders or their expected contribution to revenue and profitability.

For investors, the three contract wins represent incremental progress across Thruvision’s priority markets, with the potential for further opportunities through existing customer relationships and international distribution partnerships.

Attention will now turn to additional orders, repeat deployments and the company’s ability to convert its expanding sales pipeline into sustained revenue growth.
