Tap Global Earn AUM Surpasses $8m as Customer Deposits Drive Growth

Tap Global Group plc (AIM: TAP) said assets under management in its Tap Earn crypto yield programme surpassed $8.0 million as at 22 September 2026, up 43% from $5.6 million reported on 20 August.

AUM has increased 129% from $3.5 million shortly after launch in May, substantially ahead of the 12% rise in Bitcoin over the same period. Tap said this indicates growth has been driven primarily by net customer deposits rather than asset-price appreciation.

The programme has generated approximately $141,000 of cumulative yield revenue since launch, up from around $125,000 in August, representing an annualised gross yield of roughly 7% on committed capital.

Tap Earn has now completed 20 consecutive weekly customer payouts. Current annualised customer rates remain up to 8% on supported stablecoins, 3.5% on Ethereum and 2.5% on Bitcoin, with no lock-ups or early-withdrawal penalties.

Chief executive Arsen Torosian said the product is now generating more than $30,000 per month in additional Group revenue, with further potential as AUM grows.

Tap also plans to deploy assets held under its new Digital Asset Income Strategy through the same Tap Earn mechanism. The strategy will initially be funded using proceeds from the £1 million placing announced on 22 September 2026.

The company intends to introduce monthly DAIS reporting once treasury assets are deployed, covering crypto holdings, movements and yield generated.

For investors, the next milestone is whether Tap can sustain the current pace of customer-led AUM growth while demonstrating that the revenue contribution scales alongside it. The addition of company treasury assets could increase income further, but it will also make the Group’s own balance sheet more directly exposed to the performance and risk profile of the Tap Earn strategy.

Investor takeaway: Tap Earn is scaling faster than underlying crypto prices, with AUM up 43% in a month to more than $8 million and cumulative yield revenue reaching approximately $141,000. The key question now is whether Tap can maintain customer deposit growth and translate rising AUM into a material recurring revenue stream as its own treasury assets are added to the platform.
