Further to its announcement of 29 July 2020 advising of the grant of the mine permit by the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for its CS Project in Nevada, USA,
The Company is pleased to announce that the Nevada Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation (BMRR) has now issued its Notice of Final Decision to grant the required Mine Reclamation Permit.
The BMRR is a bureau of the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection with permitting a joint agency action based on the Company’s joint submission of its Plan of Operations to the BLM and Reclamation Permit application to the BMRR.
The Final Decision approves the Company’s proposed mine reclamation plan as set out in Company’s joint Plan of Operations and Reclamation Permit application. It is subject to a 10-day appeal period and becomes effective on 15 August 2020.
Commenting today Sunrise Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham said : “This is the second of the two key permits required for mine development.
