Global stock markets have had a turbulent week. They initially plunged on fears over US tariffs, a potential trade war, and recession risks—only to rebound sharply after President Trump announced a 90-day delay on the planned levies.

Gold soars to new record highs as the dollar slumps on the escalating US/China trade war. Yesterday, gold prices rose 3% and are up another 1.2% in the spot market, hitting highs of $3,227/oz.
