Never a dull moment in the small caps, and this week was no exception.

Silence Therapeutics PLC has joined forces with one of China’s largest drug developers to create a deal worth US$1.3bn in milestones payments. As part of the agreement with Hanson Pharma, the UK group will receive an ‘upfront’ payment of US$16mln.

Guild Esports PLC, (LSE:GILD) has established its sixth professional esports team with three “top-tier” players to compete in Apex legends, a free-to play hero shooter game.

Aminex PLC, (LSE:AEX) announced that it reached a settlement agreement with Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), regarding past gas sales. This will allow Aminex to receive a net cash flow of approximately US$1.85mln.

Cedric Boireau, a representative of the largest shareholder in XLMedia PLC (AIM:XLM), has been appointed a non-executive Director by XLMedia PLC.

Newmark Security PLC (AIM:NWT), said that its board is positive that the group is well-positioned for the remainder of the financial year to navigate current market conditions.

Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP), has published today the latest edition its quarterly newsletter, summarizing key activities and developments within its group and portfolio companies. Learning Technologies Group PLC completed the PS284mln purchase of GPS Strategies. This was a transformative deal for the company.

88 Energy Limited (ASX.AIM.88E) updated the market about its operations for the quarter ending 30 September. The quarter ended with A$36mln of bank deposits and no debt.

Power Metal Resources PLC, (AIM:POW), has shared the results of a recent satellite imagery analysis over Garfield Property in Walker Lane Mineral Belt, Nevada, US.

Sensyne Health PLC, (AIM:SENS) has reached a deal to access more than 22mln US-based patient records.

DeepVerge PLC (AIM:DVRG), has reported a related party transaction that occurred in 2018, when the company was called Integumen. Dagmara Brandon (wife of Gerard Brandon), the company’s chief executive, advanced loans totalling £12,650. These loans were interest-free and unsecured. The loans were then transferred to a third person in exchange for DeepVerge shares on November 20, 2018, at a price of 6.5p each share. DeepVerge’s independent directors believe that the terms of these loans were fair, reasonable and appropriate.
