Thank you for messages in response to last weeks publication the #URU presentation was well met. On Thursday and Friday of this week I visited London city and met with several companies and their teams via Malcolm Palle’s Mining Maven event. Content will be released soon, and we also spoke to several investors behind the scenes. I met with Zak Mir and we did a promotion of our up and coming investors show on the 26th November see the website at for further information or listen here.

If there is a share, event or person on social media that you would like to spread the news about or say thanks to let me know and I will cover these in ‘What’s on next’ in the next publication of Steve Shares

Whats hot? Whats not?

The regulars…

88 Energy (88e)

Still awaiting further news in reference to the remaining 50% potential oil in place and details on the up and coming land purchase. What are your guesses in reference to these two pieces of news?

Highlands Natural Resources (HNR)

Some good research and posts by DaveGreece, Diamond and Fadec got the HNR bulletin boards and twitter buzzing in relation to the patents. Also mentioned was the news of the injection well but waiting ten days to hear if there will be any objections will see people staring at their screens, if no objections come then Highlands Natural Resources can proceed without any further waiting. After their successful drill at Helios, but loosing the drilling logging tools, could this next piece of news be key to holders and the re-rate of the shareprice? Rumours of the CEO visiting institutions had people thinking that there might be a potential placing very soon, however with the conversion of warrants thoughts were of some good news flow shortly and the share price reacted accordingly. What are your thoughts on when or if this news will come?

Trending this week

CloudTag (CTAG)

Cloudtag this week has seen some good news, the product has been spotted by @selfridge_mr in Women’s Fitness magazine (hope its his wife’s magazine). Is this the first in the line of many advertising campaigns to come? Holders certainly hope so, lets see what news flow awaits Cloudtag holders now they are fully funded and the share price is below recent highs is now a good time for new investors to become involved with one of the hottest stocks of recent times? Let me know your thoughts on #STCTAG and tag me in @slarratt1

Vast Resources Plc (VAST)

With hard times in the mining sector, this has been a turbulent time for holders of the stock. With assets in Romania and in Zimbabwe these are relatively unknown areas for mining to take place away from the normal mainstream producers. Talk this week was in relation to funding aspects going forward and the outcome of the Annual General Meeting. The board of directors were showing their disappointment in the share price and also with the fund raising aspects that they are faced with. The resolutions were not passed in relation to an open release of equity and thus they will require an EGM to proceed further forward if further issues are needed. Many thoughts on the matter were that they will need a lot of extra funding. With the recent drops in shareprice to its current levels is now a time to be looking at investing? Or is it a better time to get involved at a later date when funding issues and a clearer path forward have been established? Let me know on #STVAST and tag me in @slarratt1

GCM Resources

GCM Resources this week announced pretax losses of £1.0 million as it booked higher finance costs and share based payments. However they remain positive on the potential of the Phulbari coal project and the plan to support 4,000 megawatts of power generation via joint venture partners. They are negotiating with potential partners to expedite the project, and has agreed a memorandum of understanding with China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co Ltd to mutually investigate the feasibility of a joint venture for the development of mine-mouth coal fired power plants at Phulbari. These would generate up to 2,000 megawatts at the project. With this new stock onto the leader boards what are your thoughts and comments? This this a good share to be invested in?

Sepura (SEPU)

Holders and traders await the news flow on the takeover potential. People guessing as to what takeover offers could be ahead on the bulletin boards has kept talk flowing. With the historical share price over the last year being around £1 what do holders and traders hope to see in relation to any offer that may be tabled? Do other communications company’s have eyes on the company and might be thinking of a potential bid? Your thoughts and comments please on #STSEPU

My thought of the week

Thinking about events and how people interact with the company’s they invest in can lead to massive gains and losses. Some people talk to the teams and others don’t. Others see a brokers note and a ‘tip’ of a certain share price and simply assume that is what will happen. As with many shares there will be intra day movements but if your share price entry point dropped 50% would you be able to trust your research? Would there still be enough potential in the stock to make gains within a time frame that is suitable to your strategy as a suitable risk/reward basis?
