Although the UK calendar begins the week with barely any whispers, Wall Street stock-takers will still have plenty of things to watch, including Peter Thiel’s Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR)
The stock plummeted after it was revealed that Europe’s countries were less likely to use its data processing software. Revenue was up, but earnings barely escaped sinking into the red.
Palantir, one of few tech companies that still hires and doesn’t fire employees late last year, achieved US$503-505mln in fourth-quarter revenue.

TUI AG (LSE: TUI) will present a first-quarter update. This follows up on a positive final results statement from December.
All segments of the business have returned to profit for the first time since the pandemic. analysts stated that investors will continue to monitor this trend along with any confirmations of the company’s debt and pandemic state assistance it must repay.
Coca-Cola, HBC will report in London, while Coca-Cola Co will report in New York.
The US beverage giant has performed well in recent months, according to analyst Aarin Chiekrie of Hargreaves Lansdown.

NatWest Group PLC, (LSE: NWG) is back in the Friday spotlight with investors looking for news on big returns.
The former RBS, along with Lloyds, is expected to pay cash in excess of 40% of their market caps over the next few years. This is due in large part to the building up of reserves in the pandemic as well as the recent rise in profitability in the sector from higher interest rates.
