Further to its announcement of 16 August 2021, Salt Lake Potash Limited (“SO4” or the “Company”) has requested an extension to its voluntary suspension on the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) to 13 September 2021.
The shares have been suspended pending the finalisation of an announcement in relation its Lake Way Project funding. Trading in the Company’s securities will continue on AIM during this period.
Salt Lake Potash (SO4 or the Company) advises that CEO Tony Swiericzuk has resigned.
Mr Swiericzuk will continue as a Board member of the Company and also as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition to the new CEO, as well as providing ongoing strategic and technical advice.
The Board would like to thank Tony for the energy and commitment he brought to the CEO role since joining the Company in November 2018. Tony has guided the permitting, financing, development and construction of the Lake Way Project, positioning SO4 as an industry leader in Western Australia.
The Board is in advanced discussions with a replacement CEO and will be in a position to make an announcement in the weeks ahead. Mr Swiericzuk’s resignation will take effect on appointment of the new CEO.
The Board is committed to the success of the Lake Way project and the larger vision of SO4 becoming a major global exporter of seaborne SOP.
