Rome Resources PLC (AIM: RMR) has announced the proposed appointment of Stephane Mutombo Irung as a non-executive director to its Board, effective September 3, 2025. Mr. Irung represents Stanvic Mining SARL, which made a strategic investment in Rome towards the end of 2024.
The appointment remains subject to approval from the company’s nominated adviser and the completion of standard due diligence. Rome confirmed that a further announcement, including the required disclosures, will be made once Mr. Irung’s appointment is finalised.
