There was a chunky update from Xtract Resources (XTR) announcing an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Racecourse Prospect, on the Bushranger Copper-Gold Project in central New South Wales, Australia.

The company said that with over a million tonnes of contained copper equivalent metal, the Racecourse Mineral Resource represents a substantial undeveloped copper-gold porphyry deposit.

Castillo Copper Limited (CCZ), a base metal explorer, announced assays received for RT_001RC (Reefs Tank) and FG_001RC (Fence Gossan) verify the extensive, shallow Rare Earth Elements mineralisation discovery across the central part of BHA Project’s East Zone. The company said the new assays show consistent shallow REE mineralisation across a wide part of the BHA Project’s East Zone. Moreover, the interpreted scale of this shallow REE discovery, within a mining friendly district, is an outstanding result which has the potential to create significant value for shareholders.

AQRU (AQRU), an incubator specialising in opportunities in decentralised finance, announced it has conducted an operational review designed to make it a leaner, more efficient business. This will enable the company to reduce its monthly overhead by 65%.

It would appear BSF (BSFA) is looking to build on its recent positive news. The investment company focused lab-grown tissues, announced that its 100% owned subsidiary, 3D Bio-Tissues Ltd (3DBT), is to partner with the growth factor company Qkine to help accelerate the creation of affordable cultivated meat.

Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ), an independent mine development company, provided details of its 2022 Sava project exploration results. The company said that its 2022 exploration programme at Sav has identified copper, gold, silver and molybdenum IOCG style mineralisation across three sites. These results confirm that Amaroq holds a significant licence area covering a large scale, highly prospective strategic metals belt.

There is continued momentum at Empire Metals (EEE), the AIM-quoted resource exploration and development company. It announced that exploration activities have now commenced at the Pitfield Copper Project, located in Western Australia. These field activities will focus on under-explored areas of the Project and generate new exploration data that will add significantly to the company’s understanding of the size and nature of this potential Giant copper province.

Mkango Resources (MKA) announced that HyProMag GmbH has been awarded grants totalling €3.7 million for a new project, comprising a €2.5 million grant from the ERDF and a €1.2 million grant from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Prospex Energy (PXEN), the AIM quoted investment company, updated on the development activity on the Podere Gallina Licence. Prospex holds a 37% working interest in the Podere Gallina licence with the Operator holding the remaining 63%. The company said it was extremely pleased that Po Valley has confirmed that final permissions have been granted to start the development works on site and that Podere Maiar remains on schedule and on budget to achieve first gas early in the second quarter of 2023.

Parkmead (PMG), the independent energy group, reported its preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2022. This included record revenue, up 236%, with strong cashflow and profits recorded at operating and pre-tax levels.

Zinnwald Lithium (ZNWD), the German focused lithium development company, provided an operational update as it advances its 100% owned Zinnwald Lithium Project (the “Project”) in Germany towards its goal of a materially expanded Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”) and completion of a Bankable Feasibility Study (“BFS”) by the end of 2023.

Deltic Energy (DELT), the AIM-quoted natural resources investing company, announced that Shell UK Ltd, the Operator of Licence P2252, has confirmed that the Maersk Resilient rig has been safely installed on the Pensacola location and that drilling operations have now commenced.

Kibo Energy (KIBO), the renewable-energy-focused development company, announced the signing of a renewed MOU with Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited in relation to the development of the Mbeya Power Project as first announced in a Company RNS dated 14 February 2018.

Seeing Machines (SEE), the advanced computer vision technology company, published its first set of non-financial KPIs for the quarter ended 30 September 2022 (Q1 FY2023). The company said it is “tremendous” to see cars on road, fitted with its technology, increasing with a significant year on year hike and 25% increase over the final quarter of fiscal FY22, as more of our ongoing programs progress into production.

Jadestone Energy (JSE), an independent oil and gas production company, announced the completion of the acquisition of the remaining 10% interest in the Lemang production sharing contract onshore Indonesia. As a result, Jadestone’s interest in the Lemang PSC has increased to 100%.
