Caracal Gold (GCAT), the gold producer with operations in East Africa, has signed formal agreements to acquire a 100% interest in the advanced Nyakafuru Gold Project and secure a 75% interest in the Simba Gold Project, both located in the world-class Lake Victoria Gold Fields in Tanzania. The acquisitions will see the Company’s attributable gold resources increase immediately to over 1.5Mozs.

Key appointments include the Honourable Jean Charest, former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, as Chairman, and Dr. Junaid Bajwa, the Chief Medical Scientist at Microsoft Research. Carolyn Cross, Founder and CEO of Ondine, and Nicolas G. Loebel, PhD, President and Chief Technology Officer, stay as they are.
Cornish Metals (CUSN), whose shares have been soaring of late, reported assay results from three diamond drill holes at the ongoing drill programme at the United Downs Copper – Tin project, Cornwall, UK. The company said it believes that these latest intersections clearly demonstrate the potential for United Downs to host a copper/tin/silver Mineral Resource to complement the identified tin Mineral Resource at South Crofty. Confirmation that high grade mineralisation continues beneath the historic United Mines validates the exploration potential we believe exists throughout Cornwall and within its mineral rights holdings.
Tertiary Minerals (TYM) provided an update from its Pyramid Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, USA, where analytical results from a recently completed surface sampling and mapping programme continue to return high-grade silver and gold grades. The majority of these new samples were collected over a wide area along the recently established zone of silver mineralisation at the North Ruth target. The company said that the results include the highest silver grades it has sampled at North Ruth to date, including the presence of reportable gold grades.
United Oil and Gas (UOG) extended the date of a binding sale and purchase agreement with Quattro Energy Limited to sell its UK Central North Sea Licences P2480 and P2519. The long stop date for satisfaction of the SPA conditions was initially 6 December 2021, but has now been extended long to 28 February 2022 to allow additional time for the SPA conditions to be completed.
Bluejay Mining (JAY) the exploration and development company with projects in Greenland and Finland, provided an update on the Dundas Ilmenite Project. The company said consolidating and extending its current distribution agreement is key for the Dundas Project. The completion of the pilot plant operation marks the achievement of a critical milestone in validating the process flowsheet.
Galileo Resources (GLR) provided details regarding an Option and Joint Venture Agreement entered into on 6 December 2021 with Garbo Resource Solutions Ltd, covering the Shinganda Copper-Gold Project, Zambia comprising Large Scale Exploration Licence No. 22990-HQ-LEL. The company said its target would be primarily supergene-enhanced shallow copper-gold mineralisation which is amenable to small to medium scale open pit mining development and that can be readily tested by shallow drilling.
Thor Mining (THR) announced the third follow up diamond drillhole (21MHDD003) at the Molyhil Critical Minerals Project, Northern Territory, which it said reinforces the newly discovered extension of scheelite-molybdenite-chalcopyrite mineralisation within a magnetite skarn. It added that this extension of mineralisation, directly south of the deposit, has significant positive implications for the overall Molyhil Critical Minerals project.
Cloudbreak Discovery (CDL) and Alianza Minerals Ltd. announced the optioning of their first project to Allied Copper Corp. The Klondike project, located in Colorado, United States, consists of 76 unpatented mining claims, a State of Colorado Exploration Permit and an exclusive right to a State lease.
Dev Clever (DEV), a leading developer of online and immersive career guidance, announced a contract from Question What’s Real, an Asia-based VR hardware manufacturer and distributor operating on behalf of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The contract is for an initial 20,000 VR devices to be deployed to users in China, pre-installed with the Group’s immersive STEM learning library.
SEED Innovations (SEED), which has a focus on the medical cannabis, health, and wellness space, announced its interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2021. The company completed the sale of stake in cannabis business EMMAC Life Sciences realising a gain of £1.9 million, a 1.86 times return on the original investment. It invested €3 million in Eurox Group, , to provide direct access into the largest cannabis market in Europe, as well as a second new investment in CiiTECH Limited, an established research-led cannabis healthcare company.
Duke Royalty (DUKE), a provider of alternative capital solutions, announced that it has entered into a $21.0m royalty financing agreement with Atlas Signs Holdings, Inc. This partnership represents Duke’s largest investment to date and expands upon the company’s North American presence.
