Invinity Energy Systems (IES), a manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage, announced that it is part of a consortium led by Indian Energy LLC developing a solar-plus-storage microgrid project, that will include a large vanadium flow battery system, under the California Energy Commission’s Long-Duration Energy Storage Program. Production from the RCE-2 well is approximately 550 bbls/d net (1,100 bbls/d gross) producing from the C7A and C7 stringer zones. This drilling will inform an updated gold Mineral Resource Estimate and a maiden rare earth MRE. The programme will also see Cobra achieve the stage 3 earn-in milestone of the Wudinna Heads of Agreement, entitling the Company to 75% project ownership.
Alphawave IP Group (AWE), a company involved in high-speed connectivity for the world’s technology infrastructure announced the acquisition of Banias Labs, an Israel-based optical Digital Signal Processing chip developer for data centers for approximately $240 million. The company said that the acquisition strengthens Alphawave’s roadmap of optical DSP silicon products for data centers, a core high growth market for Alphawave.
