Physiomics plc (AIM: PYC) has secured multiple new contract awards with a combined estimated value of more than £200,000.
The mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics company said the awards include a mix of follow-on work within its Biometrics service line and a new contract within its Modelling & Simulation business.
The Biometrics awards include two extensions to existing clinical development engagements. One is with a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on immunology, while the other is with a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on infectious disease.
Physiomics has also secured a new Modelling & Simulation contract with a Boston-based biotechnology company developing novel immunotherapies for cancer.
The projects will use Physiomics’ expertise in biostatistics, modelling and simulation to support key stages of drug development, including data analysis, development programme support and model-informed development.
The company said the awards demonstrate the continued development of its diversified service offering, the strength of its client relationships and its ability to support increasingly complex projects across both existing and new customers.
Chief operating officer Jesse Thissen said the contracts reflected continued progress in the company’s Biometrics service line, alongside its established Modelling & Simulation capabilities.
He said Physiomics had focused on building the processes and technical infrastructure needed to support more complex client engagements since launching its Biometrics department.
Thissen added that the mix of follow-on and new work showed the increasing breadth of Physiomics’ offering and its ability to provide quantitative support to biotech clients across multiple stages of development.
