Pathos Communications Plc (LON: NEWS) floats in London with AI-driven strategy

Pathos Communications Plc (LON: NEWS) made its London market debut this week, with chief executive Omar Hamdi joining the Proactive studio to discuss the group’s AI-powered approach to public relations.

Hamdi explained that Pathos is focused on the global SME market, using artificial intelligence to address what it sees as a long-standing PR problem: helping smaller businesses achieve consistent media coverage at scale, something traditional agencies have struggled to deliver.

The company has developed its own proprietary technology rather than relying on off-the-shelf tools. “We’ve got a proprietary AI — it’s not just some guy in the corner with a GPT Pro account,” Hamdi said.

Pathos’s platform centres on two core products. PathosMind is an AI agent stack built for use by PR agencies, while Pressella is a virtual publicist that can interact directly with clients via email, Zoom and WhatsApp.

The flotation marks the next stage in Pathos’s growth as it looks to commercialise its technology and expand its reach in the SME communications market.
