OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences company focused on products that reduce hunger and food cravings, improve the gut microbiome, and offer sweet fibres as healthy sugar alternatives, has announced the launch of its award-winning appetite-suppressing SlimBiome® in Hydroxycut Hunger Control.
Hydroxycut, marketed as America’s No.1 best-selling weight loss supplement brand, has sold over 100 million bottles in the past two decades* and is stocked by major US retailers including Walmart, Kroger, Target, GNC, Kmart, Albertsons, and CVS Pharmacies, as well as online outlets. In recent years, the brand has shifted towards more science-backed products, with SlimBiome® bringing proven, substantiated hunger control claims to the range.
The product launch follows the first order announcement on 15 April 2025 and is supported by marketing citing two OptiBiotix studies showing hunger reductions of 74% and 83%. Orders for a second SlimBiome®-containing product have been received, with launch expected later this year.
The initial rollout has already generated orders totalling just under five metric tonnes of SlimBiome® for 2025. The Board believes this partnership with one of the USA’s most recognised weight management brands presents significant growth potential and will provide further updates in due course.
