Gilbert will remain involved with Nuformix in a consultancy capacity, providing continuity and ongoing access to his sector experience.\n\nMetcalfe brings more than **30 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience**, having held senior roles at Robert Fleming, Rothschild, Westhouse Securities, Northland Capital Partners and Zeus Capital.\n\nHe later co-founded **IFC Advisory**, where he serves as Managing Director, and has extensive experience advising companies on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, capital markets and regulatory matters.\n\nMetcalfe is also Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of The Investment Company plc and Non-Executive Chairman of Equipmake Holdings plc.\n\nHis appointment comes as Nuformix continues to advance its **NXP002 programme**, including ongoing discussions with prospective development and licensing partners.\n\nMetcalfe said his focus would be on creating shareholder value through NXP002, partnering discussions and evaluating broader strategic opportunities."}
