Naked Wines plc has announced the launch of a share buyback programme of up to £1 million, aimed at enhancing shareholder returns.
The buyback will be managed by Panmure Liberum and will commence immediately, continuing until either the maximum aggregate consideration of £1 million is reached or 31 March 2026, whichever comes first.
All ordinary shares repurchased under the programme will be held in treasury. The company noted that daily repurchases may exceed 25% of the average daily trading volume on the London Stock Exchange, meaning the buyback will not qualify for certain Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) safe harbour exemptions.
Naked Wines emphasised that this buyback is separate from its existing capital distribution policy, under which the group intends to return up to 50% of adjusted EBITDA to shareholders over time.
