We had the pleasure to be able to talk with the MetalNRG team about recent company updates in the London (virtual) studio. The news flow has been relentless lately. Participation in the recommissioning of Italian waste-to-energy plant powered by EQTEC technology.
Announced an update on its Gold Ridge Project in Arizona following the completion of a site visit and a Competent Persons Report conducted by SRK Exploration Services (SRK). BritNRG 100 Days Delivery and Workover Success,
Following completion of the acquisition of the Oil and Gas assets in Lincolnshire, completed in January 2021, BritNRG had set a number of operational priorities, feeding into a 100-day operational plan. The plan included engagement with key stakeholders, in respect to priority business objectives, risk and compliance management of the assets and a workover of one of the blocked-in wells.
BritNRG now provides a summary of the relevant achievements, including the completion of the workover on Whisby No. 6 well (“W6”), executed within Q2-2021 as per plan.
Gold Ridge Project Update
SRK spent three days on-site with the remit to prepare and update the Competent Person Report on the Gold Ridge project (dated 5th September 2018), as well as review the existing technical documentation, including the results of work undertaken since September 2018. In addition, following the site visit on Gold Ridge, SRK were to recommend follow up fieldwork requirements.
Following this site visit, SRK have now put forward their conclusions and recommendations. SRK considers that the mapping and sampling conducted to date supports the concept that the Gold Ridge Project has the potential for the discovery of further, minable gold mineralisation and that an initial two-stage programme of follow up work is warranted.
Participation in Italian waste to energy Plant
In partnership with EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), a world-leading gasification technology solutions company for sustainable waste-to-energy projects is pleased to announce its participation in the acquisition and planned to recommission of a 1MWe waste-to-energy plant in Italy. Originally commissioned in 2015, the plant was built around EQTEC’s proprietary and patented Advanced Gasification Technology.
MetalNRG will join a consortium led by EQTEC to repower, own and operate the biomass-to-energy plant (the “Plant”) in Castiglione d’Orcia, Tuscany, Italy. Once operational, it is intended that the plant will transform straw and forestry wood waste from local farms and forests into green electricity and heat for use in the local community.
