MetalNRG has announced its strategic focus will primarily be on copper, along with potential investments in gold and strategic metals.
This decision stems from anticipated high demand driven by global macroeconomic factors, energy transitions, and technological advancements.
After reviewing over 100 global projects, the company has narrowed down its list to approximately 10 key projects. These are being advanced and include several potential candidates for reverse takeovers, as noted in a statement released with its annual results.
Furthermore, MetalNRG has determined that its partnership with EQTEC, along with its investment in EQTEC Italia, is non-core. The company is now exploring the most appropriate exit strategy for this investment.
For the fiscal year ending December 2023, MetalNRG reported losses of £1.45 million, an improvement from the £2.2 million loss recorded in 2022.
