MedPal AI reports 42,500 customers as Mounjaro business grows

MedPal AI plc (AIM: MPAL) has announced that its New Health business has become one of the UK’s top 30 Mounjaro providers by supply volume, climbing from 3,048th to 29th place in just three months, according to rankings provided by pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly.

The rapid expansion follows the launch of New Health’s initial marketing campaign in July 2026, with the company’s customer base now exceeding 42,500, up from more than 33,000 at the end of September.

Based on an estimated UK market of approximately two million people using GLP-1 weight management medications, New Health calculates that it has captured around 2.1% of the market.

The market estimate originates from evidence submitted by Novo Nordisk to the House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee in August 2025, which suggested that more than 90% of UK GLP-1 weight management users obtained treatment privately.

Eli Lilly’s latest supplier rankings place New Health 29th by Mounjaro supply volume, representing a substantial improvement in its market position since July.

The company’s directors believe the ranking demonstrates that New Health is among the UK’s fastest-growing GLP-1 providers, although the ranking measures supply volume rather than revenue or profitability.

MedPal AI is also reporting stronger customer retention, with repeat orders now accounting for more than 30% of New Health revenue, compared with 22% in September.

The increasing contribution from returning customers is particularly significant for the business, as repeat purchases do not incur the same direct customer acquisition costs as new orders.

To support further expansion, MedPal AI expects to open its enlarged GLP-1 fulfilment line at Sarus Court by the end of October 2026, increasing processing capacity to 14,000 orders per day.

The additional infrastructure is intended to support rising prescription volumes and provide capacity for further growth as competition intensifies across the UK’s private weight management market.

Chief Executive Jason Drummond highlighted the scale of New Health’s expansion, noting that its rise from 3,048th to 29th place had been achieved in approximately three months.

Drummond said the increasing proportion of repeat orders demonstrated the benefits of the company’s customer acquisition strategy and underlying Health OS technology platform.

He also reiterated management’s ambition to establish New Health among the UK’s top three GLP-1 providers, supported by expanded fulfilment capacity and continued customer growth.

For investors, the combination of rapid customer acquisition, rising repeat-order revenue and increased operational capacity represents an important development for MedPal AI’s growth strategy.

However, the company has not disclosed the profitability of New Health’s expanding operations, and its longer-term financial performance will depend on customer retention, operating costs and competitive conditions.

Attention will now turn to the commissioning of the expanded Sarus Court facility and whether New Health can sustain its recent growth while improving the contribution from repeat customers.
