Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed a further wave of branch closures across the UK, with 95 locations set to shut between May 2026 and March 2027.

The latest round of closures will affect customers of Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland, with 53 Lloyds branches, 31 Halifax sites, and 11 Bank of Scotland branches scheduled to close between May 2026 and March 2027.

The group is already carrying out previously announced closures, with 49 sites scheduled to close by October. This follows an earlier decision revealed last January to shut 136 branches by March 2026.

Once all planned closures are complete, Lloyds Banking Group is expected to have around 610 branches nationwide.

The closures will affect all three of the group’s major brands, including Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland.
