A number of KLM employees, aircraft loaders, have been forced to temporarily stop working at Amsterdam Schiphol in The Netherlands. According to the employees, the workload is too heavy. Numerous flights were cancelled.
” KLM acknowledges that there is a high workload and is doing all it can to reduce the workload,” the airline stated in a statement.
“We use every measure possible to do so. One of these measures is temporary hiring employees from another Schiphol handling agent.

We want our customers to receive the same quality we offer. This work interruption has serious consequences for customers as well as for colleagues working during busy periods. KLM will have a meeting with employees at the ground operation to discuss this matter.”
