KEFI (AIM: KEFI), the gold exploration and development company with projects in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is pleased to announce the Company’s name has been changed to KEFI Gold and Copper plc with immediate effect.
As previously announced on 13 August 2020 a special resolution for the Company’s name to be changed was passed by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company.
The Company has retained its existing ticker (KEFI.L), SEDOL (BD8GP61) and ISIN (GB00BD8GP619) following the change of name.
Shareholdings will be unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained as they will remain valid for all purposes. Any new share certificates issued will bear the new name.
KEFI Gold and Copper plc
KEFI is focused primarily on the development of the Tulu Kapi Gold Project in Ethiopia and its pipeline of highly prospective exploration projects in the Arabian-Nubian Shield. KEFI targets that production at Tulu Kapi will generate cash flows for capital repayments, further exploration and dividends to shareholders.
